- Bachelor or post graduate qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, and registration as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to obtain registration by the time of commencement with NNSWLHD.
- Demonstrated high levels of post graduate clinical experience and specialist knowledge in the area of lymphoedema therapy and completion of Level 1 lymphoedema management course.
- Ability to plan and coordinate client care independently and operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and manage a clinical workload / case load within finite resources.
- Demonstrated understanding of the application of primary health care practice, principles and the interface between acute, sub-acute and community based service provision.
- An understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal social, cultural and economic issues; a capacity to flexibly develop local responses to community needs; and cross cultural communication skills.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and use a computer keyboard, work with a word-processing and an e-mail software application.
- Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
