  1. Bachelor or post graduate qualification in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy, and registration as a Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) or ability to obtain registration by the time of commencement with NNSWLHD.
  2. Demonstrated high levels of post graduate clinical experience and specialist knowledge in the area of lymphoedema therapy and completion of Level 1 lymphoedema management course.
  3. Ability to plan and coordinate client care independently and operate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
  4. Demonstrated ability to prioritise workload and manage a clinical workload / case load within finite resources.
  5. Demonstrated understanding of the application of primary health care practice, principles and the interface between acute, sub-acute and community based service provision.
  6. An understanding and knowledge of Aboriginal social, cultural and economic issues; a capacity to flexibly develop local responses to community needs; and cross cultural communication skills.
  7. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and use a computer keyboard, work with a word-processing and an e-mail software application.
  8. Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment.
