To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
  1. Tertiary qualifications in health management or information technology management or equivalent extensive experience with integration, interface design, development, implementation and maintenance in a complex health care environment.
  2. Extensive proven experience with managing a systems integrations and applications team that supports interfaces, applications and databases in a live multi-vendor production environment.
  3. Thorough understanding of relevant interface and integration technologies, including HL7, FHIR, X12, XML, API's, relational and hierarchical databases, file structures and service oriented architecture (SOA) and health systems interoperability.
  4. Extensive proven programming background with relevant exposure to Third (3GL) and Fourth (4GL) programming languages.
  5. Demonstrated experience of strong technical knowledge on various data structures and principles of data cleansing, conversion, extraction, interfacing, system synchronization, and transaction management.
  6. Demonstrated business orientation and understanding of information systems that support the patient care process with ability to manage complex problems and with an ability to develop solutions, alternative courses of action and decisions that are based on logic and experience.
  7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate with technical experts and with demonstrable team management skills.
