- Minimum qualification is Electronics and Communications certificate or Electrical Engineering of the Department of Technical and Further Education, or who has qualification and/ or experience deemed equivalent. Equivalent qualifications must be recognised in Australia at this level.
- Capabilities for the repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting of digital/analogue electronic or electromechanical equipment, with some understanding of Australian standards relevant to the management of medical equipment.
- Demonstrated experience in prioritisation of resources and self-management.
- Demonstrated written, oral and interpersonal skills (in English) with proven ability to communicate effectively within a team environment.
- Sound computer skills including database systems and office productivity software. Demonstrated knowledge of the windows operating system and computer networking.
