Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Post-graduate qualifications in mental health nursing or equivalent and at least 3 years full time equivalent experience working with people with serious mental illness and their families.
- Demonstrated clinical skills that encompass all stages of ECT treatment including assessment, preparation, ECT procedures theatre, recovery and follow up.
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and organise a small clinical service, including scheduling, monitoring and evaluating clinical procedures and service delivery
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team and a range of health care providers and requires high level skills in negotiation and problem solving for a client group who are experiencing complex mental health issues.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision maintaining involvement within the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated commitment to clinical practice development, quality improvement and research.
- Current Driver's Licence and willingness to use for work purpose travel
