- Bachelor of Education Early Childhood or equivalent Masters in Education Early Childhood
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Managing Asthma in Early Childhood Certificate & managing Anaphylaxis in Early Childhood Certificate
- Ability to plan and implement a program in relation to the Early Years Learning Framework outcomes and indicators
- Sound Knowledge of child development and learning and commitment to providing high quality care for children
- Knowledge and thorough understanding of the Education and Care National Regulations and National Quality Standards
- Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
- Ability to liaise closely with key stakeholders and promote a high quality service
