Position Classification: Dietitian Level 3
Remuneration: $56.68 - $58.52 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38 (Job Share may be considered for part time hours)

What you'll be doing
This position is the Team Leader for Nutrition and Dietetics staff working within Acute and Supportive and Palliative Care services at Auburn Hospital. This position is responsible for the leadership, guidance and line management of these staff. This position manages specific projects, assists with accreditation, act as a consultant for issues related to nutrition, supervises dietetics staff and students, plans and evaluates current and new services, develops and reviews policies, procedures and guidelines, reviews and implements Evidence Based Practice and leads quality improvement initiatives and projects. The position also maintains a clinical load.

Essential Requirements

  • Qualification: Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or other qualification deemed


Selection Criteria

  1. Extensive post graduate clinical dietetics experience, including a broad generalist knowledge of clinical nutrition.
  2. Demonstrated experience or capacity to provide clinical supervision and support to staff including level 1 and 2 Dietitians and support staff.
  3. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, evaluating and reporting on services.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, as well as work independently.
  5. Good time management skills including ability to manage and prioritise workload.
  6. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and experience in leading and developing quality improvement initiatives and implementing evidence-based practice.
