- Bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the dietitians Association of Australia
- Clinical dietetic experience, with consumers with mental illness
- Demonstrated ability to work under minimal direct professional supervision and exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to provide quality written documentation through the use of proficient IT skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative in a proactive manner and work as an effective team member
- Capacity to develop and deliver dietary education and training to a range of professionals including mental health clinicians and GPs
- A commitment to quality improvement
