- Nationally recognised Dental Assisting Certificate course at Certificate Level III and IV.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a dental team providing competent dental assisting to Dentists and Oral Health Therapists with an ability to manage change and provide leadership.
- Demonstrated high level of interpersonal, written and oral communication skills to communicate effectively with a variety of people including co-workers, patients, dental suppliers and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated advanced knowledge of and experience with current Dental Infection Control Procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in undertaking a range of administrative tasks associated with oral health clinical operations, including staff supervision and rostering, procurement services and demonstrated computer skills.
- Demonstrated experience in word processing, spreadsheet and email software, preferably Microsoft Office suite and dental and administrative information management systems/databases.
- Ability to work independently and meet performance objectives set by management.
- Current Driver’s Licence valid for use in NSW and Australia and willingness to travel and work in various locations within the Clinical Network.
