Selection Criteria
- Current registration as a Psychologist with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) with endorsement as a Clinical Psychologist or currently undertaking a Board approved registrar program for the purpose of gaining such endorsement. Accredited post graduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Demonstrated skills in assessment and counselling.
- Demonstrated experience in practice of cognitive behaviour therapy and/or other evidenced based treatment modalities.
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated experience in working independently, organisational skills, time management skills, the ability to manage competing demands.
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: HIV counselling, Hepatitis C counselling, drug and alcohol interventions, crisis counselling, facilitation / teaching or group work skills, community liaison experience.
