  2. Degree in science from an approved university or college of advanced education requiring a minimum of three years full-time study or such qualifications as the employer deems equivalent.
  3. Relevant experience within a hospital or private practice setting, preferably in respiratory function measurement.
  4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience in technical procedures associated with specialised procedures and/or treatments relevant to the speciality, preferably in Spirometry, lung volumes, diffusing capacity for carbon monoxide, exercise testing and bronchial provocation tests.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and skills in the utilisation of information technology and biomedical equipment.
  6. Demonstrated excellent communication, time management and organisational skills to work in a responsible and efficient manner to manage competing priorities to meet deadlines.
  7. Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment whilst working autonomously to deliver results within specified timeframes set to meet client expectations.
  8. Commitment to the principles of quality management and continuous quality improvement and to identify, develop and implement quality and service improvement activities.
