  • Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with post graduate qualifications in Respiratory Nursing or clinically relevant area to respiratory nursing and at least three years’ experience in the management of clients with respiratory/ chronic disease.
  • Evidence of clinical leadership skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework to plan, deliver and coordinate patient care.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply advanced clinical expertise in relation to clinical nursing practice and independently make decisions that support good patient care outcomes.
  • Demonstrated commitment to excellence in nursing practice, the provision of education to others and own professional development
  • Demonstrated effective communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills with the ability to identify key messages, issues and concerns when communicating with others
  • Demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience in the provision of education to persons that have a high risk of and/or existing pulmonary conditions.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting the implementation of self-care management strategies and the coordination and supervision of pulmonary rehabilitation programs
  • Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia
