- Current General Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
- At least three (3) years public hospital experience with a specific interest in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and rural health. Applicants to have DRANZCOG certificate or completing their DRANZCOG training.
- Competence in performing adult and paediatric basic/advanced life support as part of a rural multidisciplinary team, knowledge of procedures required for stabilisation of patient prior to retrieval.
- Knowledge of contemporary clinical management and modern approaches in assessment and management of the broad range of general medical practice conditions.
- Demonstrate an interest in and /or commitment to adapting new models of care, an understanding of the systematic processes in the provision of health care understanding of change management processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing medical education to develop and consolidate personal skills and competencies for enhancement of professional capacity.
- Demonstrated commitment to behaviours which align to the NSW Health CORE values and MNCLHD Values, goals and strategies.
