  • Must be a person of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander decent - an applicant's race is a genuine occupational qualification and is authorised under Section 14 of the Discrimination Act 1997 NSW.
  • Must possess a Certificate 3 in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and understanding of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Must be able to identify and implement health promotion activities within a secure environment for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients.
  • Possess a current NSW drivers licence and the willingness to travel across the Network (as necessary).
  • Possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Recent experience working with Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander patients and their families and knowledge of their local cultural-specific communities and its health services.
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the values of the Justice Health & Forensic Mental Health Network.
