  1. This is an Identified Aboriginal/Torres Strait Islander Position. Applicants for this position must be of Aboriginal descent through parentage, identify as an Aboriginal person and be accepted in the community as such. Exemption is claimed under Section 14 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
  2. Post graduate qualifications in health or social science areas or relevant work experience.
  3. Demonstrated understanding of culturally responsive service models that meet the needs of Aboriginal families.
  4. Experience in leading an Aboriginal Health service or program with a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Demonstrated experience in developing service networks and collaborative service models that improve access to services for Aboriginal communities.
  6. Demonstrated advanced communication skills ( verbal and written), including excellent negotiation, complex decision making and advocacy skills and demonstrated computer skills.
  7. Demonstrated experience in planning, implementing, leading and evaluation of quality improvement activities involving the application of evidence based practice.
  8. High level analytical skills including risk assessment and decision making.
