Selection Criteria:

 

  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience in workforce relations functions preferably in a large and complex organisation
  2. Demonstrated knowledge and experience interpreting awards, employment law and related policies and procedures
  3. Demonstrated experience in effectively dealing with workplace issues including the management of staff grievances and misconduct.
  4. Experience working in a high volume role, with the ability to successfully manage competing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
  5. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills including ability to write reports, deliver presentations and facilitate team based activities.
  6. Demonstrated initiative together with sound analytical and problem solving skills.
  7. Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships and liaise, advise and negotiate effectively with key stakeholders including management, staff, industrial representatives and external agencies.
