Essential Criteria:


Vaccination Category: A
Checks: National police Checks & Working with Children Check.
Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW).

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated clinical experience or understanding of issues relating to women’s and children’s health including pregnancy, family relationship issues, domestic violence, grief, bereavement and supportive counselling.
  2. Knowledge and understanding of child protection assessment and interventions
  3. Demonstrated clinical experience or understanding of issues associated with grief and loss.
  4. Demonstrated understanding of issues associated with working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse client group.
  5. Demonstrated well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team
  7. Knowledge of quality assurance and / or clinical practice improvement activities
  8. Participation in the After Hours Crisis On Call Social Work Service.
