Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in health management or clinical management, qualifications in process improvement with demonstrated experience in both service improvement and operations in a range of hospitals including both tertiary and metropolitan hospitals.
  2. Demonstrated experience in all aspects of project management including management of multiple and concurrent projects and the implementation of state-wide and local projects, frameworks and/or initiatives with successful application of delivering change management projects with innovative approaches.
  3. Proven ability to successfully manage and lead performance programs for multidisciplinary teams in a large and complex service environment and across the health system using strategic initiatives and appropriate resources.
  4. Sound experience and understanding of managing projects and programs which deliver health system support and innovation in; developing, implementing and evaluating system-wide support. This includes using a high level of initiative, in achieving role accountabilities.
  5. Proven analytical skills including the ability to analyse and interpret complex information from numerous sources, prepare and present analysis and reports to deal with challenges creatively and achieve efficient and effective solutions.
  6. Demonstrated high level verbal and written communications, interpersonal, facilitation, consultation, engagement, presentation and negotiation skills.
  7. Proven experience contributing to and implementing strategic initiatives including continuous improvement, change management, to improve system performance including the role of organisational and cultural change management in complex organisations.
  8. Demonstrated experience in fostering a strong team culture, collaborative approach to achieving deliverables and working effectively in high performing teams and organisation.
