Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
- Demonstrated relevant clinical nursing experience in the management of clients with a chronic illness
- Demonstrated experience as a Clinical Nursing Unit Manager - Level 1 or acting Clinical Nursing Unit Manager Level 1 or Team Leader experience
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, manage and develop nursing staff
- Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including problem solving, balancing competing demands and conflict resolution
- Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to utilise information technology systems within a variety of applications and commitment to undertake training in electronic health record systems as required
- Current unrestricted Australian Driver’s Licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD
