- Experience with, or willingness to be trained for, performing basic duties associated with the care of hospital patients and residents.
- Demonstrated understanding of infection control, Work Health and Safety and manual handling principles.
- Experience working and communicating with people, having a friendly and respectful approach to people from all backgrounds.
- Ability to work as a supportive and co-operative team member sharing information and acknowledging others efforts.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Ability to take directions from a supervisor.
- Ability and willingness to work shifts, on a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
- Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
