  1. Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with at least 5 years full time equivalent post registration experience or post graduate qualifications in the relevant field; or Bachelor Degree in Social Work or other equivalent qualification providing eligibility for membership of AASW; or Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or equivalent qualifications recognised for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia; or Current full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia with a four year degree in psychology, being a three year degree with a fourth year honours in psychology, or a qualification deemed equivalent by the employer and have completed a minimum of one year at the 9th year of service and thereafter point on the salary scale for Psychologist.
  2. Demonstrated high level of knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework for working with children and adolescents with mental health problems, including a thorough understanding of the NSW Mental Health Act (2007), and relevant NSW child protection regulations
  3. Extensive experience in mental health assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes. With demonstrated experience in implementing complex treatment plans for vulnerable children and young people with comorbid presentations.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in clinical leadership and provision of clinical supervision to health professionals from a range of disciplines.
  5. Providing care in a culturally appropriate manner for diverse populations, including Aboriginal communities that is trauma informed and recovery orientated
  6. Demonstrated experience, knowledge and skills working in collaborative partnerships with GPs, government and community managed organisations and other agencies.
  7. 7Proven advanced communication skills (written and oral), including the ability to negotiate and liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders throughout all organisational levels and demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information systems.
  8. Current NSW drivers licence and ability to travel as required.
