- Accredited Sterilising Technology Certificate or equivalent experience.
- Comprehensive, up to date knowledge of sterilising technology processes, standards and statutory requirements.
- Significant experience in operational management of sterilising services in an acute care setting.
- Competence in financial management to demonstrate service provision is delivered in an efficient and effective manner.
- Computer literacy with Microsoft Office applications, Human Resource management applications and computerised rostering systems.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, with exceptional team building expertise, liaison and negotiation skills.
- Evidence of strong and empowering leadership skills, motivation and advocacy.
