  1. Physically capable of carrying out all duties standing for long periods, lifting pushing and pulling loads, as outlined in the Job Demands Checklist for this role.
  2. Ability to follow directions from line management and senior staff and work independently under routine supervision.
  3. Ability to relate well to others and work effectively as a member of a team.
  4. Demonstrated interpersonal written and verbal communication skills.
  5. Ability to apply a problem solving approach to work tasks.
  6. Have sound knowledge of the role of the sterilising department within a health care facility.
  7. Applicant must have a driver’s licence and willing to travel.
