Selection Criteria:
- A degree or equivalent in Medical Radiation Science which will ensure eligibility for membership of the Australian Society of Medical Imaging & Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) as well as a post graduate diploma or equivalent qualification in medical ultrasound ensuring Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry (ASAR) accreditation.
- Registration with ASAR.
- Recent clinical experience in medical diagnostic ultrasound.
- Demonstrated ability to independently perform the full range of diagnostic general ultrasound procedures in accordance with department service requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Current Class C driver's licence and/or the ability to attend remote sites in a timely manner by other forms of transport.
