- Social Work degree and eligibility for the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics. Demonstrated experience as a Social Worker Level 2 or above.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills in comprehensive psycho-social assessments, counselling and therapeutic interventions, complex clinical casework, group work, advocacy and discharge planning.
- Demonstrated clinical experience working with individuals and families impacted by chronic and/or life threatening medical conditions.
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as a collaborative member of multiple interdisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement and research activities.
- Demonstrated experience in the provision of supervision of social workers and social work students.
- Demonstrated well developed skills in written and verbal communication, computer literacy, time management, prioritisation, liaison and negotiation.
