To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. A Social Work degree which provides eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW),  including the ability to demonstrate a practical application of the AASW Code of Ethics.
  2. Demonstrated experience in a health related field and ability to provide a range of Social Work interventions.
  3. Demonstrated experience prioritising work and managing stressful situations.
  4. Sound administrative and organisational abilities as well as interpersonal, time management, verbal and written communication skills.
  5. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team.
  6. Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to quality processes, and the application of evidenced based practice within social work.
  7. Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with children and carers, and the understanding of the needs of children and young people living in an OOHC (Out of Home Care) setting and the impact of abuse and trauma on children and Young People.
  8. Demonstrated knowledge of case management and experience working in a multidisciplinary framework and the ability to network and liaise with a variety of agencies.
  9. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
