Social Worker Level 3 (Targeted) Building Strong Foundations

1. Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers and is a female (genuine occupational qualification Section 31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW))
2. Demonstrated recent experience in the provision of clinical services to client groups of a complex nature requiring advanced practice Social Work skills, as well as counselling, group and family work, including the areas of domestic violence, post-natal depression, child protection issues, low risk suicide and an understanding of normal development and the significant variability’s of childhood development
3. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal direct supervision. Ability to plan, implement, evaluate and report on services, including identifying opportunities for improvement in clinical practice across psychosocial and multidisciplinary service delivery
4. Demonstrated experience in providing clinical supervision, consultation and demonstrated ability to apply professional knowledge and judgement when performing novel, complex or critical tasks
5. Demonstrated experience working with people who identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander. High level of cultural competence
6. Practise within a Primary Health Care framework, including building effective partnerships with other relevant government, non-government and community organisations
7. Demonstrated excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including, verbal and written forms and advanced skills in using electronic communication modes
8. Current NSW State driver's licence (including P1 or above) and willingness to use for work purposes. This may include driving long distances across the LHD
