Essential Criteria:

Checks: National Criminal Record Check and Working with Children Check
Qualification: Degree in Social Work with eligibility for membership of the Australian Association of Social Work (AASW)

Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding of psychosocial issues associated with acute and chronic illness
- Demonstrated capacity to provide counselling, case management for patients/families with end of life care, complex discharge issues and illness adjustment
- Demonstrated clinical experience or understanding of issues associated with grief and loss
- Demonstrated understanding of issues associated with working with Culturally and Linguistically Diverse client group
- Demonstrated well-developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Knowledge of quality assurance and / or clinical practice improvement activities
- Participation in the After Hours Crisis On Call Social Work Service
