Selection Criteria
- Ability to work with accuracy in high volume patient work areas and experience working independently and as a team member.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and directions and work with minimal supervision.
- Awareness and importance of manual handling and PPE when cleaning/moving objects.
- Awareness of the importance of infection control and hand hygiene in a hospital environment.
- Ability to demonstrate effective oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide a high level of customer service and to uphold the SLHD’s CORE values.
- Ability to be available to work at short notice across a range of shifts and days of the week.
