Selection Criteria
- Being a woman is a genuine requirement for this position under Section 31.2H of the Anti- Discrimination Act 1977.
- Demonstrated experience prioritising work and managing stressful situations.
- Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team and build partnerships with local agencies.
- Demonstrated high level of communication skills (written and verbal) and demonstrated computer skills.
- Evidence of commitment to clinical supervision and professional learning.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to quality processes, and the application of evidenced based practice within counselling.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the provision of crisis intervention, assessment, and counselling to children, young people, adults and non-offending parents/carers/significant others.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the dynamics and impact of sexual assault, and domestic and family violence including child protection issues.
