Senior Statistician, Analytics and Insights, Activity Based Management (ABM)
Selection Criteria
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role, such as health information management, statistics and database management, or equivalent demonstrated experience.
- Extensive experience in statistical and data analysis using SAS, including the ability to summarise results for a broader audience and to analyse data to guide policy development.
- Demonstrated understanding and knowledge of the NSW Health funding model and data captured in major health data systems across NSW Health, particularly those related to patient care and costing.
- Demonstrated well-developed verbal communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to interact effectively with a variety of stakeholders.
- Extensive experience with the development, building, querying and maintaining of reports using tools such as SAS, Microsoft Excel and SQL.
- Demonstrated experience in successfully developing, implementing and maintaining new data items or reporting processes where data is obtained from multiple sources.
- Demonstrated capacity to work in a high volume environment, deliver results and meet client expectations within short timeframes.
