  1. Hold a recognised degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
  2. Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in the assessment and management of clients with a traumatic brain injury, in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
  3. Demonstrated high level clinical skills and experience in the assessment and management of dysphagia, communication and cognition.
  4. Experience providing community based rehabilitation coordination and/or case management to people with complex needs and a willingness to obtain and maintain the status of approved case manager with NSW Lifetime Care and Support.
  5. Demonstrated well developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
  6. Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stake holders throughout all organisation levels.
  7. Ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
  8. Hold a valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and be willing to travel for work purposes
