- Hold a recognised degree in Speech Pathology with eligibility for practicing membership of Speech Pathology Australia.
- Extensive post-graduate clinical experience in the assessment and management of clients with a traumatic brain injury, in a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
- Demonstrated high level clinical skills and experience in the assessment and management of dysphagia, communication and cognition.
- Experience providing community based rehabilitation coordination and/or case management to people with complex needs and a willingness to obtain and maintain the status of approved case manager with NSW Lifetime Care and Support.
- Demonstrated well developed time management skills with excellent written and verbal communication, including report writing skills.
- Excellent negotiation, decision making and advocacy skills including the ability to interact constructively and collaboratively with a diverse range of stake holders throughout all organisation levels.
- Ability to initiate, lead, complete and implement quality improvement initiatives and service evaluation processes and lead ongoing quality improvement activities with other staff.
- Hold a valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and be willing to travel for work purposes
