  1. Eligibility for AASW membership with significant post graduate experience in social work practice with families and children and/or in health context.

  2. Substantial post graduate experience in social work practice with children and their families.

  3. A well-developed knowledge of the psycho-social challenges facing families living with complex developmental disabilities/concerns and a sound knowledge of relevant community resources and support services available to the children and families.

  4. Significant post graduate experience in a variety of social work interventions/modalities including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, case management, counselling, group work.

  5. Excellent demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

  6. Demonstrated skills and experience in clinical supervision, professional education activities, service planning, and quality improvement activities.

  7. Competent computer skills and ability to adapt to new IT systems.

  • Applicants are required to provide evidence of their  first dose of a COVID-19 vaccination and confirmation of booking for second dose prior to 30th November 2021

  • From 30th November  2021 onwards, all applicants to provide evidence of first and second dose of a COVID-19 vaccination

 

If you have a medical reason and cannot be vaccinated:

A COVID-19 Vaccine Medical Contraindication form must be completed by a GP or Medical Practitioner.

An exemption to the Public Health Order requirements will only be considered if you are unable, due to a medical contraindication, to be vaccinated against COVID-19.
