Senior Social Worker (Tumbatin Development Service)

Eligibility for AASW membership with significant post graduate experience in social work practice with families and children and/or in health context.

Substantial post graduate experience in social work practice with children and their families.
-
A well-developed knowledge of the psycho-social challenges facing families living with complex developmental disabilities/concerns and a sound knowledge of relevant community resources and support services available to the children and families.

Significant post graduate experience in a variety of social work interventions/modalities including psychosocial assessment, crisis intervention, case management, counselling, group work.

Excellent demonstrated interpersonal and written communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.

Demonstrated skills and experience in clinical supervision, professional education activities, service planning, and quality improvement activities.

Competent computer skills and ability to adapt to new IT systems.
