Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Degree in social work with eligibility for membership of the AASW
- Experience in sexual health and HIV/AIDS or a keen interest in the same
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills including computer literacy
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Demonstrated ability to independently exercise clinical judgment in problem-solving and case management and work with minimal direct supervision
- Understanding of the principles of Harm Minimisation and working with marginalised groups
- Proven capacity to work within a broad range of counselling issues, including crisis interventions, case management and long term counselling
- At least three years social work experience in a related area
