Senior Radiation Therapist

• Registered as a Radiation Therapist with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia (MRPBA) as regulated by the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
• Holds or eligible to hold a NSW Radiation licence as issued by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) regulatory body.
• Demonstrated high level of understanding and extensive experience with Radiation therapy, QA and radiation safety principles and practices.
• Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and applied knowledge in Radiation Therapy practices.
• Demonstrated ongoing continuing professional development and knowledge of current trends in radiation therapy techniques and technology including demonstrated active participation or involvement in research and development through associated reports, presentations, conferences or publications.
• Demonstrated foundational leadership ability and experience, to be self-motivated and promote initiative within a group including ability to develop and implement change management practices effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills spoken and written, able to relate with patients, visitors and the various staff groups externally and within the hospital.
• Eligible to drive in NSW and willingness to travel to sites across HNELHD.
