- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent experience as deemed relevant by the employer
- Personal experience of having a mental health problem or disorder, and of using recovery principles
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and commitment to consumer led recovery and ability to plan, implement and evaluate group and peer led interventions using a quality improvement process
- Demonstrated experience in determining priorities, strategies, developing policy and leading peer support services
- Proven experience in effectively supervising and coaching staff
- Demonstrated experience working effectively in both community and inpatient settings
- Experience in working collaboratively with individuals and groups, and building and maintaining effective relationships
- Demonstrated effective negotiation, time management, as well as written and verbal communication skills.
- Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
