- A degree or post graduate qualification in industrial relations, employment law or human resources management or relevant field, or equivalent extensive experience in senior human resource management/industrial relations/employment law or a combination of study and work experience.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in leading employment and/or industrial negotiations, providing sound advice on related matters and experience in presenting matters before industrial and other tribunals.
- Proven extensive experience in interpreting awards and employment legislation, policy development and processes and internal consultancy.
- Proven well-developed high level analytical skills, verbal and written communication skills, and negotiation skills with ability to influence outcomes.
- Proven engagement and collaboration skills, with the capacity to build, maintain and use relationships with customers and stakeholders.
- Proven experience in developing systems, tools, resources and training to support employment/industrial relations capability for managers and presentation skills to support this training.
