- Relevant tertiary qualifications, or working towards such and/or experience in Human Resources management/ Employee Relations or Business.
- Senior experience in generalist workforce/human resources functions including change management, industrial consultation, grievance and disciplinary management, job evaluation, conflict resolution and coaching which demonstrates the ability to develop and implement strategic HR solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the public sector, relevant employment and Industrial Relations, EEO, Child Protection, WHS Legislation and relevant State Awards including their application.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of organisation, in a variety of formats and situations, including written and verbal communication skills.
- High level computer literacy, preferably Microsoft Office applications and experience with a Human Resources Information System, preferably Stafflink.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with the business relatively unsupervised, successfully negotiate, creatively resolve issues, identify risk and demonstrate credibility, ensuring deliverables are directly linked to organisational objectives.
- Current Drivers Licence.
