Senior Health Clinician VAN
Selection Criteria
- Four year degree in Social Work or Psychology. Eligibility for membership of AASW or registration as a psychologist. Minimum of 3 years post graduate experience as a social worker or psychologist.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge or sexual assault theory and practice, crisis intervention and a high level of contemporary intervention skills appropriate for sexual assault victims together with a commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence based practice.
- Understanding of intergenerational trauma, child sexual abuse and the principles of family focussed intervention in the context of the legal and policy framework governing child protection in NSW.
- Two years minimum experience in providing individual clinical supervision.
- Demonstrated ability to clinically lead a small therapeutic team, which is supported by highly refined clinical skills.
- Demonstrated experience in planning, delivering and evaluating service delivery, program development activities and professional education.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team, prioritise and manage a caseload.
- Current unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence and ability to travel as part of the role.
