Selection Criteria
- Generally registered as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia with area of practice endorsement in Clinical Psychology or Clinical Neuropsychology.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in assessment and cognitive rehabilitation, including neuropsychological assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes in the field of traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently in the provision of client and family focused care.
- Commitment to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health and an understanding of the issues that impact on delivery in relation to the field of psychological practice.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to accomplish client brain injury rehabilitation goals and improved client care and outcomes.
- Demonstrated high level verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit the target audience.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the provision of counselling, behaviour management and psychoeducation in the field of traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.
- Current NSW Class C driver’s license.
