Selection Criteria to be addressed:

  1. Degree in Physiotherapy and current National Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.
  2. Substantial postgraduate clinical experience and demonstrated high level of knowledge, skills and clinical experience in intensive care, and across a broad range of Physiotherapy clinical areas.
  3. Demonstrated high level verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to adapt communication style to suit different audiences.
  4. Demonstrated ability to independently problem-solve and apply professional and ethical boundaries when working with complex situations as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  5. Demonstrated ability to lead a physiotherapy team, and effectively work in a multidisciplinary team with substantial experience in Physiotherapy staff orientation, workload prioritisation/distribution, supervision, and performance development.
  6. Demonstrated ability to provide advice to service managers on Physiotherapy WH&S, clinical service development, practice and design in response to demands and client / stakeholder needs.
  7. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and demonstrated knowledge of & experience with Quality Improvement & Evidence Based Practice.
