Senior Cardiac Sonographer
- Current accreditation with Australian Sonographers Accreditation Registry (ASAR) and current licence to drive in NSW.
- Post graduate qualification in diagnostic cardiac ultrasound with extensive practical examination experience demonstrating excellent clinical reasoning skills in the performance of complex sonography procedures.
- Demonstrated experience in service development with proven ability to develop and implement protocols and procedures pertaining to Cardiac Ultrasound.
- Demonstrated effective clinical and non-clinical communication through the use of information technology, written, verbal and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrate ability to effectively prioritise and organise own workload, delegating where required.
- Demonstrated responsibility for own continuing professional development (CPD) with particular relevance to the ultrasound profession.
- Demonstrated extensive experience in the Ultrasound modality including involvement in protocol and procedure development.
- Willingness to actively participate, organise and facilitate ultrasound education for other staff and students including in-services and other forms of CPD.
