Selection Criteria:
- This position is open to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander applicants only in accordance with Clause 26 of the Government Employment Rules 2014, applicants must demonstrate Aboriginality in addition to addressing the selection criterion.
- Ability to work towards completion of the recognised Certificate III in Allied Health Assistance.
- Genuine Interest in in working in the health industry, understanding of health issues affecting Aboriginal people.
- Ability to work under supervision and co-operatively within a multidisciplinary team, prioritise work tasks and manage time effectively.
- Good interpersonal communication skills and cross cultural communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively use a computer keyboard; work with word processing and email software applications.
