What you'll be doing
As a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department, you’ll deliver efficient and effective nursing care as part of a multidisciplinary team. You’ll play a key role in responding to urgent health needs and supporting patients and families through critical moments.
Deliver patient-centred care aligned with professional and legal standards
Collaborate with medical and allied health teams to manage complex clinical presentations
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold reporting requirements
Promote a culture of learning and continuous improvement
Ensure a safe, clean and dignified environment for patients and staff

Essential Criteria:
Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Selection Criteria:
Demonstrated ability to create positive relationships with patients, carers and loved ones to achieve patient empowerment, information sharing and confidence in nursing staff.
Demonstrated extensive and recent emergency nursing skills and experience
Proven ability to work independently with initiative, as well as collaboratively and respectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Proven commitment to continuing professional development.
Demonstrate critical thinking abilities, prioritisation and communication skills, whilst effectively following directions.
