Nepean Hospital is seeking a compassionate and detail-orientated Registered Nurse to join our Clinical Trials team in the Renal Medicine Unit.

As a Clinical Trials Registered Nurse you will play a critical role in the coordination, implementation and oversight of clinical research studies. You’ll work closely with principal investigators, research coordinators and renal patients to ensure safe, ethical, and high-quality delivery of clinical trial protocols. This role will see you coordinate and deliver nursing care to participants enrolled in renal clinical trials and perform screening, enrollment, monitoring and follow-up of participants in accordance with study protocols.

What you will bring to the role:

  1. Current registration to practice as a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Authority (AHPRA)
  2. Previous experience working with Clinical trials or on research projects
  3. Experience in the use of databases and the utilization of information technology
  4. Demonstrated superior written and verbal communication skills and interpersonal skills
  5. Demonstrated effective interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with sensitive issues
  6. Demonstrated effective time management, delegation and problem solving skills
  7. Ability to work autonomously and willingness to work as part of a team
  8. Demonstrated commitment to professional development
