Radiographer/Sonographer

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.

2. Hold current AHPRA registration to work as a Radiographer, with the MRPB of Australia and hold a current NSW EPA I-14 Radiation Licence. ASAR accredited Medical Sonographer with a post graduate degree in Sonography, or qualifications or competencies deemed equivalent by the employer.

3. Demonstrated experience in the performance and delivery of high quality ultrasound examinations and the ability to perform routine to complex clinical procedures within specialist modality, with a high degree of competency, under pressure and time constrains. Proven knowledge of the majority of current ultrasound examinations, ability to teach/supervise, and willingness to do after-hours on-call work.

4. Excellent communication skills with a strong patient care focus. Demonstrated effective interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels with internal and external stakeholders.

5. Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team in multiple modalities including Ultrasound and X-Ray.

6. Computer literacy, with focus on RIS-PACS experience, for use and understanding of data analysis and trends, to inform decisions.
