Radiographer BreastScreen NSW - NNSWLHD

1. Applicants must be female (exemption is claimed under Section 31 (2)(h) of the Anti-Discrimination Act. Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner and Certificate of Mammographic Practice (formerly CCPM) Diagnostic Radiographer/Mammographer with current registration with the EPA with eligibility for supervision and required student licencing exemption ( GE 1 and 1A14).
2. Demonstrated experience of effective prioritisation and organising workload and delegate duties.
3. Demonstrated ability to manage integrated radiology systems including PACS/BIS.
4. Demonstrated experience with mammographic QA/QC including interventional procedures and ability to troubleshoot.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage human resources to effectively and safely meet demands.
6. Demonstrated advanced level of knowledge of current legislative requirements, policies and issues which affect mammography practice, and the ability to formulate and implement strategies (including policies and procedures) to deal effectively with these issues to ensure the provision of evidence based practice and client care.
7. Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff, clients and external agencies and the ability to positively influence organisational change.
8. Participate in the roster and be flexible to work in all BreastScreen sites on the North Coast and valid unrestricted drivers’ licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment including attending the state wide Q group meetings.
