Radiation Therapist Level 2

1. Successful completion of a degree in Medical Radiation Science or equivalent qualification recognised by Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) and Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Good communication and interpersonal skills both spoken and written, able to relate with patients, visitors and the various staff groups within the hospital.
3. Experience with high energy Linear Accelerators equipped with On - Board Imaging and experience with 3D Treatment Planning Systems interfacing with Radiation Therapy CT Scanners.
4. Demonstrated ability to cope with dynamic and changing work practices including flexibility in work hours and location.
5. Demonstrated ability to work successfully in small teams while also displaying self-motivation and initiative.
6. Demonstrated ongoing professional development and knowledge of current trends and developments in Radiation Therapy techniques and technology.
7. Current licence to drive in NSW with the ability to drive for work purposes.
