To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.

  1. Health related tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  2. Experience leading or implementing patient safety programs in line with the Ministry of Health frameworks including management of the IIMS database, Root Cause Analysis and other clinical investigations.
  3. Experience managing the complaints process, associated investigations and report writing.
  4. Understanding of the principles of Continuous Quality Improvement and capacity to lead quality audits, practice and projects.
  5. Demonstrated initiative and flexibility in a complex work and demanding work environment; and ability to contribute proactively.
  6. Previous leadership experience with demonstrated project management skills and experience in the planning, implementation and evaluation of innovation within timeframes.
  7. Demonstrated high level interpersonal and written and oral communication skills and experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrated knowledge of corporate and clinical risk management and associated WHS implications.
  9. Current unrestricted Australian drivers licence (P2 Licence Acceptable) subject to obtaining NSW drivers licence within 3 months of appointment.
