  1. Relevant qualification or equivalent demonstrated experience in communications and experience working in a health care setting.

  2. Strong written and verbal communications including capacity to develop written and visual communication for various audiences and platforms.

  3. Demonstrated knowledge and experience maintaining and updating websites.

  4. Demonstrated knowledge and experience preparing electronic newsletters and maintaining distribution lists.

  5. High level of organisational and administrative skills including ability to prioritise workload, demonstrate attention to details and manage projects.

  6. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a team and the ability to self-direct to meet the goals of the Centre, the relevant Program Areas and specific projects

Applicants must have completed the vaccination course prior to commencement with NSW Health, or provide an approved medical contraindication certificate certifying the worker cannot have any approved COVID-19 vaccines available in NSW.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate.

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are required for Category A positions (refer to NSW Policy Directive PD2022_030 Occupational Assessment Screening and Vaccination Against Specified Infectious Diseases).

ASARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) 3 doses are highly recommended for all other health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
