Selection Criteria to be Addressed:
- Degree in Social Work and eligible for membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.
- Demonstrated high level expertise in child protection and mental health, with capacity to lead and coordinate interagency responses.
- Demonstrated commitment to the ongoing development of social work practice and knowledge, which may be evidenced by innovation in clinical practice, evidence-based practice, quality improvement activities and/or clinical practice/academic research.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership and/or senior social work role in mental health services including responsibility for professional standards of social work staff.
- Demonstrated commitment to the ongoing professional development and education of social work staff and the fieldwork education of social work students including provision of clinical supervision to social work staff in line with recognised standards.
- Proven ability to work effectively in operational and professional structures including high level interpersonal skills, analytical, strategic and problem solving skills as well as a demonstrated ability to facilitate change and manage projects for timely completion
- Demonstrated high level oral and written documentation communication skills including consultation, negotiation, advocacy, and conflict resolution.
- Current NSW Driver Licence (P2 acceptable).
